Cameron Moskowitz, this year's Walk and Roll Ambassador is an outgoing, friendly 12-year-old with energy to spare! He and his twin sister, Kendall, were born prematurely at 26 weeks. Three days later, his parents were told that he would never walk, talk, or eat on his own due to a brain bleed. This led them to seek care at Gillette Children's where Cameron was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 14 weeks old.

"The one thing that sticks out most in my mind about Gillette is that it's like a family.
Everyone works together to take care of kids' needs at a time when it's tough for families.
I don't know where we could go to get Cameron the care he needs other than Gillette."
- Stacy Moskowitz, Cameron's mom

Cameron has had 13 surgeries at Gillette to increase his mobility. Most recently, he underwent SEMLS- Single-event multilevel surgery- to adjust his femurs and place pins in his toes with a goal of improving his stamina and stability. Now, Cameron is walking, talking, running and even playing baseball!
